Oh my goodness...it's GORGEOUS! And it looks HUGH! Just when were you planning on telling me you bought a house???

Oh and by the way...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I remembered this morning and was going to call you when you got out of school, but apparently you are not in school.

Love you!

Thank you for the birthday wishes Mindy! Ok, here's the lowdown...someone else contracted this house from dirt start and then backed out after making several good upgrades so it hadn't hit the market yet when our real estate agent, aka Dustin Kimberlin-bro-in-law, found it and brought us to look at it. They gave huge discounts on it and we were able to convince the builders to extend the wood floor from the entryway into the living room and it will connect with the wood floor already in the kitchen; as well as other updates like stainless steel appliances and a fat carpet pad...so we got a pretty sweet house for a great price and it should be done by late Jan. It has 3000 sq ft finished and 1200 unfinished in the basement, 4 big bedrooms upstairs and yes, a big loft as well! The master bath is gigantic and the closet in there is as big as a small nursery and even has a double window in it so Jerry may put an office in there...crazy, I know...I can't believe it's going to be ours!!!! Oh, and they pay 10,000 towards closing costs and buy downs! So yes, I can sure get used to Poo-ville!!!

I just hate that you're going to be so far away that I can't help you go shopping to fill that big house!!

What a cute house. Good luck with the move. My dad always said the 'poo' smell is the smell of money. Of course he was a farmer so he had a certain attachment.
