Lie #9: It's that easy!

I was attempting to change the look of my blog. It's not that easy. I can screw up anything, apparently. Stay with me and keep coming back. When I have another 2 hours to waste, I'll be back.

Why I love my husband...

I don't often stop to ponder what it is about my husband that I love. But given the occasion, I find myself with watery eyes and a lump in my throat. Here is a man who is taken for granted by me every single day. So, in his honor, I'm posting all the reasons I can think of at the moment that I love him:

1. He lets me do whatever I want. All I have to do is ask, and I know this.

2. I'm the first runner up to being loved by him, right behind the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

3. He's grateful to be loved by me.

4. We can bitch and moan about the exact same things, but he's always the first to say we should stop.

5. He loves his boys.

6. Even though he couldn't fathom having a daughter, he's absolutely crazy about her.

7. He's ALWAYS the first to apologize after an argument, even when it is clearly my fault.

8. He has never raised his voice to me!!!!!!!

9. He doesn't understand why I go on shoping sprees, then come home and hide everything, afraid to show him. He thinks it's funny. I think I'm weird.

10. He misses my mom, too.

11. He doesn't hold grudges.

12. He supported me when I wanted to go back to work and he supports me when I tell him I want to resume my stay-at-home job.

13. He works so hard to take care of us.

14. He's a genius.

15. He doesn't miss a thing, ever.

16. If I want him to miss a thing, he acts like he did.

17. He's humble.

18. He tells me I'm beautiful.

19. He likes old love ballads and John Denver.

20. He tells me about his day.

21. He knows his own weaknesses and tries to overcome them.

22. He knows my weaknesses but doesn't tell me to fix them.

23. He's tall and handsome.

24. He can put up sheetrock and lay wood floors.

25. He still takes me out on dates after almost 10 years of marriage.

26. He fought for me.

Lie #18: Kids will eat anything...

What does it mean when you make dinner and your kids are gagging at the table?
