Lie #11: We'll be ready to close on the 27th, no...the 6th, uh...maybe the 9th. Okay, let's shoot for the 12th, I mean the 9th.

View from the front door...

Kitchen viewed from the living room...

Formal family room and dining room from the front entry...

Our upstairs loft...the master bedroom is off the door there...

This is our view from the back windows. The fence you see on the left backs up to our back yard. It was actually taken from the other side of the street.

OK, here are pictures of the house in a more completed state. If you are sick of looking at this, then go somewhere else cuz this is occupying most of my time right now, directly or indirectly, and at least I can have some happy thoughts by looking at the final outcome! Jerry will be leaving us sometime between Jan 9-12...sniff, sniff. I can't even imagine living life here without him. I so look forward to 6 o'clock every night when I know I can expect to hear his happy "HI!" to whichever kid gets to the door first. We have kicked it into high gear around our house this week. Anyone have any extra boxes? We could certainly use them!!

It's Ginger the Jersey cow from Southwest Dairy Farms!!

So I was looking at my school's website and this is the picture of the day. I almost fell over. This is the very same cow who made my boobie milk want to overproduce and start shooting out in near straight streams. Ginger, I will never forget you, you Cow Mama!

Click on the title of this post (It's Ginger the Jersey...come on, you can figure out the rest) to revisit one of my most famous posts...and remember, have a happy day!

Pictures of our new house!!

I actually posted the one below this post first but wasn't able to upload all the pictures so this is the 2nd post. It works best if you start at the last picture of the 2nd post and scroll up...

Lie #4: It doesn't usually smell like this...

We are in Colorado looking for a home right now...and we signed a contract this evening on a fantastic one!! Yeah, us!! Only problem is that the entire town smells like Poo Pie! The builder says it doesn't usually smell like that and then the sales rep says it smells like this all the time except when it's winter and the cow poo in the neighboring town is frozen...so I asked myself, "Self, do you really want to live in Poo-ville?" Everyone knows how accustomed I have become to pooh, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that I have chosen to live in Poo-ville. Anyway, here's the house! Just be grateful you can't smell it...
